How to fix Channel Membership

Overview

AICPA-CIMA portal users should only be a member of one Channel at a time.  The Channel should be the user's Primary Organization.

Multiple Channels

The only users who should have multiple channels are AICPA-CIMA administrators.

 

Primary Channel

Some Channels have discounts on training.  The discount is granted by mapping an Account to the Organization.  The discount only applies to users who are Primary Members of the organization.

AICPA Members Organization

Everyone is a member of the AICPA Members Organization.  This membership provides the user access to the AICPA-CIMA Portal.  This should appear as a Secondary Organization on the user's affiliations tab.

 

Fixing Channel Membership

If a user's Channel membership is incorrect, then edit their user record

Click on the Affiliations Tab and correct the user's Organization Affiliations.
